Creating an account If you choose to create an account, you provide us your email and a password. If you use a social media site to access your account we may have access to certain information from that site including but not limited to your name, account information and friends’ list. Purchase If you make a purchase you may provide information such as credit card number, expiration date, CVV code, shipping and billing data, and other information based on the purchase activity. You consent to providing your financial information to our service providers to process the transactions. These third parties may include credit card companies and banking institutions used to process the transactions. We may use this information for our internal business purposes.
Promotion, contest or sweepstake You may enter into a promotion, contest or sweepstake and provide Personal Information during the registration process.
Communication with us If you communicate with us, we collect the information and content you provide to us, including Personal Information such as your name, email or other contact information
Information from other sources Information may be obtained from other sources (like identity verification services and publicly available sources) and combined with the information we collect.

Location information We may use and store information about your location depending on the permissions you have set on your device. We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services at anytime, through your mobile device settings. We may collect the following information when you use our Service. We collect a list of coordinates describing the route taken including but not limited to start and end point of the route. We collect time related data such as date, time, elapsed time from start of an activity and current time zone, data related to mileage, speed of the vehicle, lateral, vertical and linear G-forces, and data related to calls taken or text messages sent and received during a trip. The information include start, and end time of a call and type of call (incoming/outgoing) and time of text message and number of characters.
Cookies Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our services for you.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The Help feature on most browsers provide information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies or to notify you when receiving a new cookie.

“Do Not Track” Under California law it’s a requirement to let you know how we respond to web browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. We don't respond to DNT signals at this time.

If you choose, you may use the Delete Account / Data Settings in the App to request the deletion of your information and your account.
Compliance With Laws We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.
Business Transaction If TripTagger is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred as a business asset. In such cases, we will provide notice before your Personal Information is transferred and/or becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Security The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information we have collected from you.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to United States and process it there.

Children's Privacy Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").

Your obligation as user You will respect all intellectual property rights of TripTagger and any third parties relating to the content on any of the Services provided through any of our products (for example, photographs and newsletters). You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your login information, including any passwords and usernames. At no time will we require you to transmit your password information to us via email. Should you receive any such requests, please contact us to authenticate such inquiry before responding to the same.
Changes To This Privacy Policy This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated herein and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
